We’d all like to be floating atop a misty, cool, freshwater tropical stream while dreamlike visions dance across our eyelids right now. For those of us residing in the cities, suburbs, and snow-swept cornfields, “Horizon” - the latest single from Phil Austrom the Maestro - well… it’s a pretty good consolation.

An epic deep house track featuring a hypnotic marimba melody, “Horizon” pairs driving percussion with cinematic strings that float over the track’s unrelenting bass groove like the fiery sun of twilight dawn floats powerfully above the horizon.

On the B side of the single, Rossteaux puts his signature downtempo spin on the track, flipping ‘Horizon’s’ into a deep, organic, and earthy groove. Rossteaux’s mix hands us a towel, lifts us out of the stream, and sets us on a fresh-cut path through the lush rainforest. ‘Horizon’ is the opening track and first single from Austrom’s upcoming debut LP, ‘Domains’, set to be released on April 7th via Eastblvd Records ‘Afterhours’ division.
